Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year?

I am looking at seasonal jobs around Austin that might lead to something longer. There are 17 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Hours ramp up in the coming weeks. Which employers treat seasonal workers well?

Apply to several. Start dates and schedules change quickly and having options helps.

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.
