Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year?

I am looking at seasonal jobs around Baltimore that might lead to something longer. There are 10 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Hours ramp up in the coming weeks. Which employers treat seasonal workers well?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 3 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
