Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year? - 21 weeks in

A retailer and two warehouses near Portland are hiring seasonal staff. I worked as an electrician's helper before this. I would like to avoid a gap in my résumé. Which employers treat seasonal workers well?

Apply to several. Start dates and schedules change quickly and having options helps.

Ask early about permanent openings. Some teams fill them from their seasonal list.
