Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year? - 11 months and counting

A retailer and two warehouses near Kansas City are hiring seasonal staff. Any experience at all would help. Hours ramp up in the coming weeks. Has anyone been converted to permanent?

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 11 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
