Seasonal hiring: what is paying well this year?

A staffing agency says some roles convert to permanent after 9 weeks. Any experience at all would help. The pay is hourly with weekly deposits. Which employers treat seasonal workers well?

I was converted after one season because I showed up every day and volunteered for extra shifts. Managers remember that.

Apply to several. Start dates and schedules change quickly and having options helps.
