Remote customer-support openings I found - what worked for you?

I found several remote customer-support roles that do not need a degree, and I have applied to a few as a bank teller. I worked as a bank teller before this. They use a short typing and listening test. Has anyone taken one of these jobs?

Legitimate ones never ask for money up front. If they ask you to buy equipment first, walk away.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
