Public-sector jobs open for Wichita residents (Wichita)

The city and county near Wichita both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Some need a short exam. Do they prefer local residents?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 7 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
