Public-sector jobs open for Raleigh residents - what worked for you?

The city and county near Raleigh both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Some need a short exam. Do they prefer local residents?

It took me about two months from application to offer. Apply early and keep your contact details current.

Sign up for email alerts on the city's job page. New postings often close within two weeks.
