Public-sector jobs open for Portland residents - 4 months and counting

Aditi Eriksen · 2026-06-11T16:15:01.317Z

The city and county near Portland both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Hiring is slower than private jobs. Anyone applied for one?

It took me about two months from application to offer. Apply early and keep your contact details current.
