Public-sector jobs open for Memphis residents after 9 years as a marketing coordinator

The city and county near Memphis both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. Hiring is slower than private jobs.

It took me about two months from application to offer. Apply early and keep your contact details current.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
