Public-sector jobs open for Madison residents, paralegal here

The city and county near Madison both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. It has been weighing on me all week. Hiring is slower than private jobs. Do they prefer local residents?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 3 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
