Public-sector jobs open for Louisville residents - any advice?

The city and county near Louisville both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. Any experience at all would help. Applications close on a fixed date and need a full work history.

It took me about two months from application to offer. Apply early and keep your contact details current.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
