Public-sector jobs open for Kansas City residents - 8 weeks in

I found several public-sector postings with benefits and a steady schedule. Hiring is slower than private jobs.

It took me about two months from application to offer. Apply early and keep your contact details current.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
