Public-sector jobs open for Birmingham residents - first time posting

I found several public-sector postings with benefits and a steady schedule. It has been a long 5 weeks. Applications close on a fixed date and need a full work history. Do they prefer local residents?

Sign up for email alerts on the city's job page. New postings often close within two weeks.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
