Public-sector jobs open for Baltimore residents, administrative assistant here

The city and county near Baltimore both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. This is my first time dealing with any of this. Hiring is slower than private jobs. Anyone applied for one?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

It took me about two months from application to offer. Apply early and keep your contact details current.
