Public-sector jobs open for Austin residents

The city and county near Austin both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. There are 11 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Applications close on a fixed date and need a full work history. How long did it take to hear back?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
