Part-time jobs that fit around childcare - what worked for you?

A grocery chain and a hotel near Austin are hiring part-time staff. I do not usually post, so bear with me. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead.

Check how they treat part-time staff for benefits. Some add them after a set number of hours.

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.
