Part-time jobs that fit around childcare - what worked for you?

A grocery chain and a hotel near Salt Lake City are hiring part-time staff. Some roles have a small tuition benefit. Has anyone worked these shifts?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

I worked evenings at a hotel. The hours were steady and the team was friendly, but weekends were busy.
