Part-time jobs that fit around childcare - what worked for you?

A grocery chain and a hotel near St. Louis are hiring part-time staff. I am in St. Louis, in case local advice matters. Some roles have a small tuition benefit.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

I got the job by going in around mid-morning and asking for the manager. Worth a try.
