Part-time jobs that fit around childcare - what worked for you?

A grocery chain and a hotel near Hartford are hiring part-time staff. It has been a long 22 weeks. Some roles have a small tuition benefit. Is the schedule really fixed?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 13 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.
