Part-time jobs that fit around childcare - what worked for you?

A cleaning company is taking applications for evening crews. I do not usually post, so bear with me. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. How many hours do they guarantee?

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 2 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
