Part-time jobs that fit around childcare - what worked for you?

I am looking for part-time work that fits around school hours and found a few evening shifts near Richmond. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. How many hours do they guarantee?

Check how they treat part-time staff for benefits. Some add them after a set number of hours.

I got the job by going in around mid-morning and asking for the manager. Worth a try.
