Part-time jobs that fit around childcare (Seattle)

A grocery chain and a hotel near Seattle are hiring part-time staff. Shifts are four to six hours and the pay is weekly. How many hours do they guarantee?

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.

I got the job by going in around mid-morning and asking for the manager. Worth a try.
