Part-time jobs that fit around childcare (Milwaukee)

A grocery chain and a hotel near Milwaukee are hiring part-time staff. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. Has anyone worked these shifts?

I got the job by going in around mid-morning and asking for the manager. Worth a try.
