Part-time jobs that fit around childcare (Little Rock)

A grocery chain and a hotel near Little Rock are hiring part-time staff. It has been weighing on me all week. Shifts are four to six hours and the pay is weekly. Has anyone worked these shifts?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 3 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
