Part-time jobs that fit around childcare (Kansas City)

A grocery chain and a hotel near Kansas City are hiring part-time staff. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. Has anyone worked these shifts?

I worked evenings at a hotel. The hours were steady and the team was friendly, but weekends were busy.

I got the job by going in around mid-morning and asking for the manager. Worth a try.
