Part-time jobs that fit around childcare - first time posting

A grocery chain and a hotel near Boston are hiring part-time staff. I worked as a machine operator before this. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. How many hours do they guarantee?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 14 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
