Part-time jobs that fit around childcare - first time posting

A grocery chain and a hotel near Portland are hiring part-time staff. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Some roles have a small tuition benefit. Has anyone worked these shifts?

Check how they treat part-time staff for benefits. Some add them after a set number of hours.
