Part-time jobs that fit around childcare - first time posting

A grocery chain and a hotel near Charlotte are hiring part-time staff. This is my first time dealing with any of this. Shifts are four to six hours and the pay is weekly. Has anyone worked these shifts?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.
