Part-time jobs that fit around childcare - first time posting

I am looking for part-time work that fits around school hours and found a few evening shifts near Pittsburgh. I am in Pittsburgh, in case local advice matters. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. Has anyone worked these shifts?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
