Part-time jobs that fit around childcare (Cincinnati)

A grocery chain and a hotel near Cincinnati are hiring part-time staff. There are 3 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. How many hours do they guarantee?

Check how they treat part-time staff for benefits. Some add them after a set number of hours.

I got the job by going in around mid-morning and asking for the manager. Worth a try.
