Part-time jobs that fit around childcare

A grocery chain and a hotel near Tucson are hiring part-time staff. Shifts are four to six hours and the pay is weekly. Has anyone worked these shifts?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 2 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Check how they treat part-time staff for benefits. Some add them after a set number of hours.
