Part-time jobs that fit around childcare - any advice?

A cleaning company is taking applications for evening crews. I worked as an HR coordinator before this. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. Has anyone worked these shifts?

I got the job by going in around mid-morning and asking for the manager. Worth a try.
