Part-time jobs that fit around childcare - any advice?

A grocery chain and a hotel near Milwaukee are hiring part-time staff. Any experience at all would help. Some roles have a small tuition benefit. Is the schedule really fixed?

Check how they treat part-time staff for benefits. Some add them after a set number of hours.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
