Part-time jobs that fit around childcare - any advice?

Emeka Mercer · 2026-06-29T06:00:06.579Z

I am looking for part-time work that fits around school hours and found a few evening shifts near Memphis. There are 15 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Shifts are four to six hours and the pay is weekly. How many hours do they guarantee?

Check how they treat part-time staff for benefits. Some add them after a set number of hours.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
