Part-time jobs that fit around childcare - any advice?

I am looking for part-time work that fits around school hours and found a few evening shifts near Knoxville. This is my first time dealing with any of this. Some roles have a small tuition benefit. How many hours do they guarantee?

Check how they treat part-time staff for benefits. Some add them after a set number of hours.
