Part-time jobs that fit around childcare - any advice?

A cleaning company is taking applications for evening crews. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Some roles have a small tuition benefit. Is the schedule really fixed?

I got the job by going in around mid-morning and asking for the manager. Worth a try.
