Part-time jobs that fit around childcare - any advice?

A grocery chain and a hotel near Milwaukee are hiring part-time staff. I do not usually post, so bear with me. Some roles have a small tuition benefit. How many hours do they guarantee?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
