Part-time jobs that fit around childcare after 13 years as an administrative assistant

A grocery chain and a hotel near Birmingham are hiring part-time staff. I do not usually post, so bear with me. Shifts are four to six hours and the pay is weekly. Has anyone worked these shifts?

Check how they treat part-time staff for benefits. Some add them after a set number of hours.
