Part-time jobs that fit around childcare after 10 years as a customer-service rep

I am looking for part-time work that fits around school hours and found a few evening shifts near San Diego. It has been weighing on me all week. Shifts are four to six hours and the pay is weekly. How many hours do they guarantee?

I got the job by going in around mid-morning and asking for the manager. Worth a try.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 10 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
