Part-time jobs that fit around childcare

I am looking for part-time work that fits around school hours and found a few evening shifts near Hartford. I have been trying to stay organised about it. Some roles have a small tuition benefit. Has anyone worked these shifts?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 8 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
