Part-time jobs that fit around childcare

A grocery chain and a hotel near Little Rock are hiring part-time staff. Any experience at all would help. Some roles have a small tuition benefit. Has anyone worked these shifts?

I got the job by going in around mid-morning and asking for the manager. Worth a try.

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.
