Part-time jobs that fit around childcare - 24 weeks in

A grocery chain and a hotel near San Diego are hiring part-time staff. I worked as a security officer before this. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. Is the schedule really fixed?

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.
