Part-time jobs that fit around childcare - 20 weeks in

I am looking for part-time work that fits around school hours and found a few evening shifts near Spokane. I worked as an event coordinator before this. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. Is the schedule really fixed?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 14 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
