Part-time jobs that fit around childcare - 16 weeks in

A grocery chain and a hotel near Atlanta are hiring part-time staff. I am in Atlanta, in case local advice matters. Shifts are four to six hours and the pay is weekly. Has anyone worked these shifts?

I worked evenings at a hotel. The hours were steady and the team was friendly, but weekends were busy.
