Part-time jobs that fit around childcare - 10 months and counting

A grocery chain and a hotel near San Diego are hiring part-time staff. I do not usually post, so bear with me. Shifts are four to six hours and the pay is weekly. Is the schedule really fixed?

I got the job by going in around mid-morning and asking for the manager. Worth a try.
