Part-time jobs that fit around childcare - 10 months and counting

A grocery chain and a hotel near Portland are hiring part-time staff. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Some roles have a small tuition benefit. How many hours do they guarantee?

I got the job by going in around mid-morning and asking for the manager. Worth a try.
