Part-time jobs that fit around childcare

A cleaning company is taking applications for evening crews. There are 17 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. Is the schedule really fixed?

Check how they treat part-time staff for benefits. Some add them after a set number of hours.

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.
