Jobs at small Toledo companies nobody posts about - what worked for you?

I asked around at a community meeting and got three leads. I worked as a home health aide before this. They prefer people who can start within a couple of weeks. Should I visit in person?

Visiting in person worked for a trades job. For office jobs, email was better.
