Jobs at small Phoenix companies nobody posts about

Two small Phoenix employers told me they are hiring but have not posted yet. It has been weighing on me all week. They prefer people who can start within a couple of weeks. Does anyone have similar leads?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

A short email with two sentences about what you can do and your résumé attached worked for me. I followed up after a week.
